As the parent company and manufacturing powerhouse behind leading Kream dessert brands, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Baker to lead bakery production, develop innovative products, maintain exceptional quality standards, and support large-scale manufacturing for franchise and retail markets.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Supervise and train baking staff in preparation and handling of baked items and oversee kitchen operations
• Ensure production of all bakery items in a consistent, precise and efficient manner
• Prepare and bake breads, cakes, pastries and other baked goods and ensure production schedules are met
• Prepare and bake doughs according to recipes or special customized orders
• Develop and test recipes for new products
• Monitor and maintain inventory of baking supplies and resolve equipment issues
• Maintain a clean and organized environment and ensure hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen
• Assist the management in hiring baking and kitchen staff

Requirements:
• 3+ years’ baker experience
• Proven team leadership and management skills
• Completion of secondary school
• Must be familiar with the use of commercial mixing machines, ovens, and other large-scale baking equipment
• Must be familiar with, and comply with, all health and safety standards
• Physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy items and standing for long periods of time
• Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks
• Good interpersonal skills and team player

Working Conditions:
• Be able to work early morning shifts. Some prep work may be required on weekend.
• Be physically capable of lifting (25 kg) and carrying heavy items
