Wage Rate: $18.00/hour, 40 hours per week.

Work Location: 3755 Senger RD, Kelowna, BC, V1W 4S4
Education: Not required
Experience: Not required. Training will be provided.
Benefits: Accommodation will be provided @ $30/week, relocation expenses & medical insurance for first 3 months covered by employer, if required.
Job Duties:
• Prepare and irrigate soil.
• Plant, fertilize, thin and harvest crops.
• Pick row and orchard crops.
• Sort, weigh and pack fruit and vegetables at the farm.
• Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce and products for transport.
• Clean up racks, trays and harvest bins and general cleanup of growing, producing and packing areas.
• Assist with general farm maintenance and maintenance of equipment and tools.
• May assist in preparing garden beds for planting.
• May write daily progress reports of inventory harvested.
Essential Skills: Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Continuous learning.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling.
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Wet/damp, Dusty, rain/ shine, hot/cold weather (Candidate should be physically able and willing to work on the farm in rain/sun or shine)
