Harvesting Labourers Job

Magill Farm & Field Service Inc. is hiring three (3) full-time Harvesting Labourers to support year-round crop production operations. Work will take place at 90029 Range Road 204, Coaldale, Alberta T1M 1N1, and involves outdoor duties in varying and sometimes harsh weather conditions. This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week for a 2-year term, with work hours that may vary depending on seasonal and harvesting demands, including early mornings or late evenings.
Wages
• $23.80 per hour
• 40 hours per week
• Atypical schedule depending on crop and seasonal needs
• No overtime rate (Primary Agriculture Stream)

• 4% vacation pay
• On-site housing available with a $30/week payroll deduction

Job Duties
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and farm equipment such as swathers, combines and tractors.
• Prepare and irrigate soil to plant and harvest crops.
• Keep and maintain yard such as fixing fences
• Keep and maintain buildings to standard
• Assist with general harvesting labourer duties
Requirements
• No formal education required.
• No experience required.
• Must be physically capable of performing labour-intensive outdoor work.
Work Environment
• Outdoor work in harsh seasonal weather conditions.
• Exposure to large farm machinery, rotating equipment, and physically demanding tasks.
