Harvesting Labourer Job

Kobe Microgreens and Greenhouses Ltd. (farm) located at 3 Location49780 lookout roadChilliwack, BCV4Z 1A5 is looking for 15 full-time and permanent Harvesting Labourers. The wages will be $17.40 and working hours will range from 30-40 hours per week. (Even though this is a full-time position, part-time job seekers are also encouraged to apply).

Duties:

Prepare and irrigate soil
Plant, fertilize, thin and harvest
Pick row, Sort, weigh and pack vegetables and microgreens at the farm
Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce and products for transport
Clean up racks, trays, and harvest bins and general clean up of growing, producing and packing areas
Assist with general farm maintenance and maintenance of equipment and tools
May assist in preparing garden beds for planting
May write daily progress reports of inventory harvested.

Requirements:
There are no specific education or training requirements. On-the-job training will be provided.
