Harvesting Labourer Job

Job Description:
Perform tasks such as hand harvesting, picking, sorting, packaging mushrooms
Loading/unloading farm produce and supplies for transport
Cleaning and preparing mushroom beds and working areas
Sanitizing picking tools and working areas

Tasks:
Hand harvesting mushrooms
Pick row and orchard crops
Sort and pack fruits and vegetables
Load, unload and transfer crates

Work and Physical Capabilities:
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work long hours with repetitive tasks
Ability to handle heavy workloads, in which can be physically demanding
Ability to distinguish between colors, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity
Ability to bend, crouch, stand and kneel for long extended periods
Ability to work at a high level height
Ability to work in various environments: cold refrigerated, dusty, strong odours

Employment requirements
There are no specific education or training requirements.

Additional information
Progression to other farm worker positions is possible with experience.

Salary: $17.85-$21.00 per hour, 40-60 hours per week.
