Job Title: Harvest Worker (NOC 85101)
Terms of Employment: 30-40 hours per week, Full-time/Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Wage: $17.48 – $19.48 per hour (Depending on experience)

Job Description:

• Prepare and irrigate soil for planting
• Plant, fertilize, thin, prune, and harvest various vegetables and fruit crops
• Perform crop-specific weeding and pest control
• Pick, sort, weigh, and pack vegetables and fruits at the farm
• Provide plant care to harvest crops
• Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, and products for transport
• Clean up racks, trays, harvest bins, and general clean-up of growing, producing, and packing areas
• Assist with general farm maintenance, equipment, and tools maintenance
• Assist with greenhouse maintenance and climate control
• May write daily progress reports of inventory harvested
• Ability to work in various climates outdoors and indoors (greenhouses)

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Education: No formal education required.
Experience: No formal experience required; successful candidates will be trained in job duties.
Language: No formal language requirement.

• Ability to work at a high-level height.
