Position Info:
• Position: Childcare Centre Administrator
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $46.00-$47.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: A-2611 St Johns St, Port Moody, BC V3H 2B5

Job Duties:
• Oversee daily delivery of daycare programs and assess their effectiveness against program goals
• Develop program schedules and organize activities to meet the needs of enrolled children
• Recruit qualified staff and coordinate onboarding and skills training for new hires
• Supervise childcare staff and offer guidance on daily duties and best practices
• Set administrative policies and procedures for daycare operations
• Prepare and monitor budgets covering programs, equipment, and support services
• Mediate disputes among staff, parents, or children to maintain a positive environment
• Lead staff meetings to review each child's development and address concerns
• Verify adherence to licensing requirements and provincial childcare regulations
• Maintain records of enrollment, attendance, and incident reports for regulatory purposes

Job requirements:
• Education: College Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required
• Certificate: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and ECE Certificate
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in childcare is required, with an emphasis on supervisory experience.
• Language: English
