Job Description:
Spa Motel is located at 140 Esplanade Ave., Harrison Hot Springs, BC V0M 1K0. We are currently looking for a permanent, full time Handyperson. If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail.
Position: Handyperson
Wages: CAD$35.00/hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 30~40 hours/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Perform general maintenance and daily inspection of the motel
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing, electrical systems and appliance
• Recommend specialized service and contact tradespersons for major repairs
• Perform routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Respond to requests from guests for minor repairs
• Perform safety and security checks and ensure the measures are in place
• May clean snow, ice from walkways and parking areas
• May move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school;
• 1~2 years of maintenance experience required.
