Montel Plastics Ltd. has an immediate opening for 6 Handyman /Woman (NOC: 73201) at our location in Oldcastle, Ontario.
As a Handyman / Woman (NOC: 73201) you will perform some or all of the following duties:
• Carry out minor repairs and adjustments on machinery
• Maintain inventory of supplies, making small purchases as needed.
• Address requests for minor repairs and conduct daily inspections of machinery.
• Provide support to mechanics, electricians, as needed.
• Ensure the establishment's security and safety measures are implemented.
• Assist in moving heavy equipment, and supplies.
• perform other routine maintenance jobs as assign by supervisor.
Qualifications:
• Completion of Secondary School is required.
• Previous 1-2 years of maintenance experience is required.
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to tackle problems systematically to diagnose issues and produce effective recommendations;
• Multi-tasker, attention to detail, and effective time management.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (40 hours/week)
Compensation $21.25 /hour
