Handyman Job

• Ensure the overall cleanliness, functionality, and safety of the facility, including the showroom, service area, offices, and restrooms
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such as fixing plumbing, heating, cooling issues, repairing electrical fixtures, painting, and carpentry work, replacing light bulbs, fixtures and switches, etc
• Maintain the exterior of the store, including the parking lot, landscaping, and exterior signage
• Provide support to other staff members for tasks requiring additional manpower, such as moving heavy supplies or setting up for events
• Assist in maintaining an inventory of maintenance supplies, equipment and reorder items
• Prepare and respond to facility-related emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to store operations
• Oversee the proper separation, disposal, and recycling of general facility waste, ensuring compliance with environmental standards
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including the proper disposal of hazardous materials and the use of personal protective equipment

• High School Diploma or above
• Related working experience is an asset
• Knowledge of basic repair and maintenance tasks
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
