Permanent Position: Hairstylist (NOC #63210)

Wage Rate: $18.50 Hourly, for 40 Hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day, Overtime if required.
Education: High School is required
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 years
Languages: English
Job Duties:
• Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features or determine style from client's instructions and preferences.
• Cut, trim, blend and style hair and perform related services using various hair cutting tools.
• Curl, wave, perm and style hair
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair.
• Produce desired effect by arranging, shaping, curling, cutting, trimming, setting, bleaching, dyeing, and tinting hair.
• Apply hair extensions, Shampoo and rinse hair and Shave and trim beards and moustaches.
• Maintains supplies by checking stock; anticipating needs; placing orders; verifying receipt.
• Clean and style wigs and weaves
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure
Essential Skills: Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, significant use of memory.
Other Information: Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada. Position is available and open to Aboriginal youth, new immigrants, and persons with disabilities.
