• Hairdresser Specific Skills, Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients on preferred hairstyles, hair condition, and service needs.
- Provide haircuts, trimming, styling, blow-drying, curling, straightening, and finishing services.
- Perform colouring services, including root touch-ups, full colour, highlights, balayage, toning,
and bleaching.
- Provide perm, texture, treatment, shampooing, conditioning, and basic scalp care services.
- Apply and style hair extensions based on client requests.
- Recommend suitable hairstyles, after-care routines, and hair care products.
- Maintain clean and sanitized workstations, tools, equipment, and salon areas.
- Monitor salon supplies and assist with ordering when required.
- Assist with appointments, client service records, payments, and front desk support when
needed.

• Hair Styling Techniques: Blow drying, Iron waving/curling, Permanents, Extensions, Roller setting

• Work Setting: Hairstyling salon/studio• Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships,
courses, etc.): Hairstylist License

• Education: Secondary (high) school

• Language: English

• Experience: 1 year of related hairstylist experience is required

• Flexible work hours: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend

• Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, public transportation is available• Work
