Hairstylist
Terms of Employment:
-Position: Hairstylist
-Vacancy: 2
-Wage: $18.00~20.00 per hour (depending on experience)
-Work Hours: 6~8 hours per day or 30~40 hours per week (Full-time), Permanent
-Benefit: 10 days paid vacation per year
Job Duties:
-Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
-Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or Streak hair
-Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair
-Suggest hair style compatible with client’s physical features or determine style from client’s instructions and preference
-Apply hair extensions
-Train and supervise other hairstylists, hairstylist apprentices and helpers
Job Requirements:
-Experience: Minimum 2~3 years of related experience in hairstyling or
-Completion of a two-or three-year hairstyling apprenticeship program or completion of a college or other program in hairstyling combined with on the-job training is required
-Language: English is required
-Education: Some secondary school education is required
