Hairstylist/Barber Job

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Sharkey's Hair Stylist or Barber, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients' appearance and confidence through exceptional hair care services. You will be responsible for providing a range of hair styling services while ensuring an outstanding customer experience. If you have a flair for creativity and a commitment to customer satisfaction, we would love to hear from you. Perform various hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling according to client preferences. Freedom to be as creative as the kids. Provide expert advice on hair care and styling techniques. Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Upsell products and services to clients, enhancing their overall experience. Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new team members on best practices in hairstyling and customer service. We offer a mini-cure with every service. Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, techniques, and products to provide clients with the best options available.
Children are given the opportunity to dress up with provided costumes. Help children look and feel their best during and after services.

Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Experience in upselling products and services is highly desirable. Knowledge of retail math to assist in managing product inventory effectively. Familiarity with barbering techniques is a plus. Ability to sanitize tools and maintain hygiene standards consistently. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor. A passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to continuous learning. Be comfortable around children and easily adapt to different personalities. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere.
