Job Description
Hana Hair, a premier salon in Victoria, BC, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Hairstylist to join our professional team. We specialize in high-end Asian hair trends and advanced chemical treatments. We are looking for a candidate who brings both technical excellence and leadership to our salon.

Salary & Benefits
Wage: $36.60 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (30–40 hours per week)

Benefits: 4% Vacation pay, Tips, and a professional working environment.

Key Responsibilities
Provide expert-level hair consultations and customized styling services.

Perform advanced chemical treatments, including specialized perms and straightening.

Execute precision cutting and trendy styling, specifically tailored to Asian hair textures.

Supervise and mentor junior stylists and apprentices to maintain the salon's high standards.

Manage daily salon operations and inventory as a senior member of the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must Have)
Credentials: Red Seal Endorsement (or equivalent international certification/experience).

Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Hairstylist.

Specialized Cutting: Expert proficiency in Korean-style layered cuts, texture blending, and face-framing designs.

Advanced Perming: Extensive experience with Digital Perms and Setting Perms using specialized heat-regulation equipment.

Straightening: Professional expertise in Hair Rebonding (Thermal Straightening) for coarse and curly hair.

Specialized Treatments: Certified or highly experienced in Brazilian Blowout and Keratin smoothing treatments.

Coloring: Proficient in advanced techniques such as Balayage, Ombre, and Color Correction.

Other Requirements
Must be able to provide a Portfolio (photos of work) demonstrating the specialized techniques mentioned above.

Strong communication skills for client consultations.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
