Hairdresser/Hairstylist Job

SR64 Hair Studio Ltd. O/A Fade Factory Hair Studio is looking to hire 3 Hairdresser/Hairstylists to add to its team at the earliest. The positions are full time and on permanent basis.

Job Title: Hairdresser/Hairstylist

Terms of Employment: Full-time, permanent
Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible.
Wage: $18.00-$21.00/hour for 40 hours per week (Overtime after 40 hours as per BC labor law)
Benefits: 4% Vacation pay
Work location: 6431 120 street, Delta, BC, Canada, V4E 3H6

Job Duties:

• Maintain supplies by checking stock; anticipating needs; placing orders.
• May shampoo hair and provide treatments such as waving, straightening
•Shave and trim beards and mustaches
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, shampoo and style hair
• Train or supervise other stylists and helpers
• Adhere to salon safety and cleanliness standards
• May book appointments

Job Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary School is required
• 1 to 2 years of experience in similar field
OR Completion of college program in relevant field is required with some previous experience

Work Conditions: Fast paced, must be able to work under pressure, repetitive tasks
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
