Job Description:
Cosmic Beauty Spa & Studio is looking for Two (2) permanent full-time positions to join our team immediately.
Location: 416-500 Notre Dame Dr Kamloops BC V2C 6T6
Position: Hair Stylist
Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible
Compensation: $36.60 per hour
Work hours: 30 hours/week
Job duties and responsibilities
• Suggest hair style to client or execute style from client’s instructions and preferences.
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair.
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to coloured hair.
• Clean and style wigs and hair pieces.
• Apply hair extensions.
• Shampoo and rinse hair
• May perform receptionist duties and order supplies.
• May train and supervise other hairstylists, hairstylist apprentices.
Skill requirements
• Education: Completion of Secondary School
• Experience: Two to Three years experience
