Hair Salon Manager Job

CLEAD Enterprises Ltd. is looking for a permanent full-time hair salon manager at CuE Hair Salon.

Duties:
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the hairdressing salon operations
- Establish or implement policies and procedures for hairdressing salon staff
- Plan and control budget and inventory
- Respond to inquiries or complaints and resolve problems
- Manage contracts for advertising or marketing strategies
- Hire, train and supervise staff
- Train and educate salon staff on Japanese hairstyling and hairdressing technique, for example but not limited to, Japanese straightening, Digital perm, Chemical theory behind it, and etc.
- Maintain and order supplies/hair products from Japan
- Perform the same duties as hair stylist when required
Compensation:
$34.62/hour, Gratuities, Commission may be provided depending on performance, 40 hrs/week, 4% Vacation Pay

Education, Skills and Experiences:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- A college diploma or vocational certificates of beauty school is required.
- 3 years of experience as hairstylist is required.
- Prior management/supervisory experience is an asset
Language:
- Communication skills in English
