GreenTee Golf C.C. Tobiano is seeking F/T Maintenance Carpenters. Job

Position Info:
• Position: Maintenance Carpenter
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $38.50-$40.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 3
• Work Location: 38 Holloway Dr, Kamloops, BC V1S 0B3

Job Duties:
• Inspect clubhouse, pro shop, restaurant and course outbuilding structures to identify repair and renovation needs
• Interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to establish scope and sequence of work for clubhouse, restaurant and grounds projects
• Fabricate and fasten components from wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials for cart paths, bridges, benches and course signage
• Construct layouts that comply with building codes using appropriate measuring instruments
• Mount and adjust windows, doors, staircases, mouldings and hardware throughout the facilities
• Restore and upgrade wooden structures including pergolas, halfway houses, starter shacks and restaurant fixtures to extend service life
• Calculate labour and material cost projections for seasonal maintenance and renovation projects
• Oversee junior tradespeople and coordinate their daily work assignments during peak golf season
• Establish quality control benchmarks and assurance procedures for completed carpentry work
• Track and replenish stock of supplies and tools for the maintenance department

Job requirements:
• Language: English
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Experience: Five or more years of experience in carpentry is required
