Greenhouse Supervisor Job

We are seeking a dedicated Greenhouse Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our greenhouses ensuring the highest standards of maintenance and productivity. You will lead and coordinate a team of workers, and ensure efficient resource utilization.

Main Duties
-Oversee and coordiate all greenhouse activities, including planting, watering, fertilizing, pruning, and pest management.
-Supervise, train, and motivate greenhouse workers, ensuring efficient and effective workflow.
-Establish work schedules and procedures, and develop detailed plans and estimate the materials and labor required for daily works.
-Requisition necessary supplies and materials, ensuring availability and proper utilization.
-Monitor plant health and growth, identifying and addressing any issues promptly,and prepare and submit progress reports.
-Implement and maintain greenhouse protocols and best practices for plant cultivation.
-Maintain accurate records of plant inventory, growth progress, and environmental conditions.
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized greenhouse environment.
-Manage greenhouse equipment and supplies, ensuring proper maintenance and inventory levels.
-Maintain accurate financial and workers’ records.
-Perform other related duties as required.

-Complete of secondary education;
-At least 6 months of experience in greenhouse management or a similar role
-Proficient in budgeting and resource management;
-Excellent leadership,organizational and time management abilities;
-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
-Good communication and interpersonal skills;
-Knowledge of cultivation techniques, including planting, fertilization, and irrigation,etc.;
-Understanding of pest and disease management practices;
-Willingness to work overtime as required.
