Greenhouse Supervisor Job

• Follow the instruction of the Site Manager and Grower
• Plan and organize ahead of time for daily and weekly duties.
• Support your team and ask the Manager when you are unsure (Team Player).
• Train employees in crop-related activities, give them support.
• Verify the leaders are checking the quality of the crop workers and pickers to company’s expectations.
• Daily visual check quality. If anyone has quality issues, then speak to the leaders.
• Regularly check the quality of all the crop workers and pickers from front to back of the row at different times.
• Ensure leaders complete quality reports, and regular checking duties.
• Ensure Leaders team keep the equipment clean and report damage to site managers maintenance.
• Gather information from team leaders and ensure they Identify and report the pest and location. Electric carts policy being followed.
• Report findings to the Site manager and wait for instructions.
• Assist Site manager to spray and release BIOS according to Site Manager/Grower instructions.
• Ensure completion of Forecasting and Trials: Fruit count and place tags as needed.
• Ensure all leaders teams follow all Food safety policies & GMP’s.
• Help create a safe, healthy, and positive working environment for all staff.
• Ensure all leaders teams follow Employee Health & Safety Standards
• Ensure the area in which the team members are working is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Co-ordinate activities with other work units.
• Planning the crop work and picking tasks with Site Manager & Team Leaders according to the workload.
• Assist the site Manager in Checking the employees are fulfilling their responsibilities to their job description: Pickers, Crop worker, Picking Leader, Crop Work Leader, Forklift driver.
• Assist the Site Manager to Analyze the production and labor cost and discuss it with the team.
• Learn from the Site Manager about checking i2i Proteus manager.
• May be required to perform the same duties as workers supervised.
