Job Requirement
• Completion of a College diploma/degree in the same field is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the relevant field will be an asset.
Job Duties:
• Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials.
• Able to develop innovative design solutions while following creative and art direction. A passion for design is mandatory.
• Coordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, or electronic materials.
• Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication.
• Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives.
• Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements.
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) programs to create designs.
• Estimate cost of materials and time to complete graphic design.
• Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers.
• Co-ordinate sub-contracting.
• Supervise other graphic designers or graphic arts technicians.
• Perform other duties as and when required.
