Permanent Position: Graphic Designer (NOC #5241)
Company: Royal Craft Construction Ltd.

Location: #205, 12899 80Ave, Surrey, BC, V3W 0E6
Wage Rate: $32.00 Hourly, for 40 Hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend, Day
Education: A university degree or Completion of a college diploma program in graphic arts is required.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience. Creative ability and artistic talent, as demonstrated by a portfolio of work, are required for graphic designers and illustrators.
Languages: English
Job Duties:
• Design brochures, logos, signs, booklets, business cards, newsletters and other communication and marketing materials.
• Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides.
• Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements.
• Decide the graphic elements, content, and design of the work as per client or business requirement.
• Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
• Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
• Prepares finished copy of art which was approved by client.
• Ensure smooth running of operations by doing weekly checkups for instruments, computers and other material used in the operations.
• Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, or electronic materials.
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops, reviewing professional publications.

Essential Skills: Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, significant use of memory.
