Employer and Location: Cpr Group Ltd. is seeking one graphic designer to join their team in the city of Calgary.

Position and Title: Graphic Designer
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Position
Positions Available: 1
Languages: English
Education: College degree
Experience: At least 1 year of experience
Personal Suitability: Client focus; Creativity; Team player; Initiative.
Terms of Employment:
• $36.00 per hour
• Full-time 35 hours per week
• 4% vacation pay
Specific Skills:
• Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations;
• Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations in order to meet their communications needs;
• Work in a multidisciplinary environment;
• Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials;
• Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication;
• Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives;
• Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers;
• Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements;
• Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides.
