Governance Analyst Job

Job Summary:
Seeking a Governance Analyst to support IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance activities — conducting risk assessments, maintaining governance frameworks, and driving effective controls across the organization's technology environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct risk assessments to identify actions and strategic next steps
• Maintain, update, and create governance frameworks, controls, and policies
• Support vendor audit activities
• Work with IT and data governance tools to monitor compliance and security posture
• Create clear, concise reports and presentations for management and leadership
• Facilitate knowledge transfer through strong oral and written communication
Required Skills & Certifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, IT Audit, or related field
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in an IT/Governance environment
• Demonstrated effectiveness in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to create clear reports and presentations for leadership
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
• Master's degree
• Industry certifications (e.g., CRISC, CISA)
• Proficiency with IT Governance tools (OneTrust preferred)
• Experience with Data Governance tools (Databricks, Alation, Collibra)
• Experience with Data/AI Security tools (Varonis, MS Purview)
• Experience with Tableau or other BI tools
Scheduling:
• Duration: 1 year
• Work Arrangement: In-office 3 days/week
