Job Title: Golf Course Superintendent

Education: High School
Experience: 2 - 3 years of relevant experience

Job Duties:
• Maintain all grounds including the golf course, clubhouse surrounds, driving range, and campsite.
• Maintain all equipment including mowers, tractor, work carts, hand tools, and rental carts.
• Train and supervise staff in the safe operation of all machinery.
• Create, manage, and execute a schedule for ground care including mowing, fertilizing, and herbicide application.
• Operate and maintain irrigation systems, water wells, pumps, and automated controls.
• Oversee the proper servicing, pressuring and winterization of the irrigation system.
• Hand water assigned areas of the golf course using hoses and sprinklers.
• Maintain and repair cart paths, bridges and other structures common to golf courses.
• Monitor daily water requirements, maintaining the irrigation central control system, and pump station.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and productive work environment at all times.
• Accurately complete equipment daily check in records, collect, analyze, and input data into a report.
Working Condition: Attention to detail; physically demanding; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Outdoors; Golf Course.
Note: The candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
