GoAnywhere MFT Developer Job

Job Summary:
We are seeking a GoAnywhere MFT Developer to lead file transfer modernization efforts. The role centers on analyzing legacy Microsoft Systems Center Orchestrator (SCORCH) runbooks and refactoring them into clean, modern GoAnywhere MFT (Managed File Transfer) workflows and job definitions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze legacy Microsoft Systems Center Orchestrator runbooks for refactoring
• Design and implement GoAnywhere MFT workflows and job definitions
• Build file movement orchestration patterns across enterprise systems
• Manage error handling strategies within MFT workflows
• Work with SFTP, SSH, PGP encryption, Windows SMB shares, and Active Directory/IWA authentication
• Apply PowerShell scripting and SCORCH architecture knowledge to automation patterns
• Perform process analysis, requirements analysis, change management, and risk assessments
• Work independently on complex migrations from legacy to modern MFT systems
• Produce accurate system and process documentation
Required Skills & Certifications:
• College degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience performing analysis, design, and development of GoAnywhere MFT jobs or similar enterprise automation (several years preferred)
• Ability to conduct process analysis, requirements analysis, change management, and risk assessments; capable of independent work
• Familiarity with Microsoft Systems Center Orchestrator
• Experience in a Windows Server AD environment using SFTP, SSH, PGP, SMB, IWA, and similar protocols
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
• Basics of SQL Server on Windows and/or Azure SQL Database
• Experience producing accurate system and process documentation
• Regex and text processing skills
Scheduling:
• Duration: 6-month contract
• Work Mode: Onsite required first week; remote thereafter, with ability to return onsite on-demand with minimal notice
