Position Info:

• Position: Meat Department Manager - Retail
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $44.72 ~ $45.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1

Job Duties:

• Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of departments engaged in retail sales
• Manage staff and assign duties
• Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales
• Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies
• Locate, evaluate, and procure merchandise for resale
• Develop and implement marketing strategies
• Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues
• Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues
• Manage staffing needs, including the hiring, training, and retention of employees

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2~3 years of experience in retail or wholesale sales experience at increasing levels of responsibility are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
