Drawing upon more than 60 years of experience, we deliver exceptional solutions, comprehensive customer service and expert consultation to the Window Wall, Curtain Wall, and Railing industries.
ABOUT THE VACANCY
We are currently looking for an experienced and goal-oriented Glaziers Supervisor (Field Manager) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of production workers involved in glazing processes within the facility.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule activities of workers
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other departments
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Requisition materials and supplies
• Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions
• Prepare production and other reports
• Other duties as required by management.
JOB REQUIREMETS
• Secondary school diploma.
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in supervising, preferably within the construction, manufacturing, or glazing industry.
• Familiarity with building materials, glass, aluminum, and related glazing products is an asset.
• Demonstrated experience in reading drawings, interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Strong communication skills, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Fluent English.
• High level of integrity and work ethic.
• Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
WORK CONDITIONS:
• Permanent, full-time position
• $42.41 per hour for 40 hours of work week
• Comprehensive benefits package (including extended health and dental benefits)
• Location of work: 131 Caldari Rd, Concord, ON L4K 3Z9
