GLAZIER/ GLASS INSTALLER Job

A glazier is typically responsible for:

Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine glass requirements
Measuring, cutting, shaping, and finishing glass using hand and power tools
Installing glass in windows, doors, partitions, storefronts, and curtain wall systems
Removing broken or damaged glass and replacing it safely
Installing pre-fabricated glass units such as sealed window units and skylights
Securing glass using clips, moldings, gaskets, sealants, or adhesives
Assembling and installing metal or aluminum framing systems for glass structures
Inspecting installations to ensure alignment, sealing, and safety standards are met
Handling and transporting glass materials safely to job sites
Performing maintenance and repairs on existing glass installations
