Glass Cutter Job

• Prepare glass for cutting by measuring and marking it with precision, ensuring that patterns or templates are placed correctly for each project.
• Inspect glass surfaces to identify any defects and determine the best approach for cutting to optimize material use.
• Cut glass according to design specifications using hand tools, ensuring clean and accurate results.
• Use tools such as belt sanders or smoothing wheels to finish and refine edges after cutting, ensuring a polished and professional appearance.
• Operate and fine-tune advanced glass cutting machinery, including computerized or robotic systems, to achieve efficiency and precision.
• Monitor production to ensure that each piece of glass meets quality standards and project specifications, maintaining consistency throughout.

• Previous experience as a machine operator assistant in glass manufacturing is needed for machine operators in this role.
• Experience as a glass cutter assistant is required for manual glass cutters.
