Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead and manage our operations from our officeAir location in Canada. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate a wide range of responsibilities, including team management, recruitment, training, negotiations with partners, and ensuring the efficient provision of assistance to distressed passengers on behalf of airlines at various airports.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Airport Operations Coordination:
1. Collaborate with airport staff, airlines, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth and efficient assistance to distressed passengers at multiple airports in Canada.
2. Monitor and coordinate all operational activities, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and regulatory requirements.
2. Team Leadership:
1. Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team of professionals responsible for coordinating airport operations.
2. Provide guidance, support, and direction to ensure the team achieves high-quality service delivery.
3. Promote a culture of excellence, teamwork, and customer service.
3. Partner and Vendor Negotiations:
1. Establish and maintain strong relationships with airlines, hotels, suppliers, and transportation providers.
2. Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure cost-effective and high-quality services.
3. Ensure partners and vendors meet contractual obligations.
4. Recruitment and Training:
1. Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and training of staff members, equipping them with the skills and knowledge required for efficient operations coordination.
2. Develop and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities.
5. Financial Management:
1. Develop and manage budgets for airport operations, focusing on cost control and financial objectives.
2. Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial performance.
6. Quality Assurance:
1. Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of service coordination.
2. Continuously assess and enhance operational processes to meet or exceed service level agreements.
7. Regulatory Compliance:
1. Stay updated on relevant regulations and ensure that operations coordination complies with all legal and safety requirements.
2. Collaborate with regulatory authorities and agencies as necessary to maintain compliance.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Aviation Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in airport operations or related management roles.

5. Financial acumen with experience in budget management.
6. Knowledge of aviation and airline industry practices.
7. Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service.
8. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
