General Manager Job

We are looking for a General Manager to join our team. It is a full-time permanent position (30 to 40hours/week), $102/hour, paid on a semi-monthly basis with 10 days of paid vacation. Job duties:
- Define and execute the company's overall strategic direction, ensuring alignment with market trends.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, working closely with departmental heads to ensure smooth execution ofbusiness objectives and optimal performance of the platform.
- Develop and implement a forward-looking technology roadmap, ensuring the VanPeople platform remainsinnovative and competitive in mobile and web applications.
- Authorize budgets, allocate resources effectively, and establish key departments to support growth andoperational excellence.
- Recruit, train, and retain executive staff, delegating authority and fostering a culture of collaboration,accountability, and innovation.
- Represent VanPeople in negotiations with advertisers, local businesses, and stakeholders, building strongrelationships to drive business growth.
- Monitor market trends and user engagement data to identify opportunities for expansion or improvement inservices.
- Act as the primary liaison with investors and business partners, clearly communicating the company’s progress,technology strategy, and financial performance.
Job requirements:
- A university degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field;
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience;
- Strong leadership skills to manage multiple departments and teams
- Language of work: Ability to communicate in English is required;
