Job Description:
CCS Education recruits 1 General Manager.

About Us: CCS Education is a company primarily engaged in education. Over the past few years, we have experienced steady growth. So far, we have provided various educational programs to more than 1000 students across eight branches in Great Vancouver. CCS education is recruiting a talented and experienced general manager.

Main Duties

Strategic Leadership: Develop and communicate the company’s vision and mission. Set long-term goals and strategies for growth and sustainability.
Operational Oversight: Ensure efficient day-to-day operations across all departments, including academic, administrative, and financial functions.
Financial Management: Manage the company's finances, including budgeting, financial planning, and monitoring financial performance. Make strategic financial decisions to ensure profitability and sustainability.
Business Development: Identify opportunities for expansion, partnerships, and new market penetration. Lead efforts to grow revenue streams and enhance market position.
Educational Innovation: Stay abreast of trends and developments in education. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in educational programs and services.
External Relations: Represent the company to stakeholders, including investors, partners, government agencies, and the public. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
People Management: Recruit, develop, and retain top talent. Foster a positive and inclusive organizational culture. Provide leadership and mentorship to senior management.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Manage risks effectively and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
Corporate Governance: Ensure adherence to ethical standards and corporate governance best practices. Uphold transparency and accountability in all company operations.
Public Relations and Brand Management: Enhance the company’s reputation and brand image. Lead marketing and PR initiatives to promote the company’s achievements and impact.
Crisis Management: Develop and implement contingency plans for potential crises or disruptions. Lead the company through periods of uncertainty with resilience and agility.
Community Engagement: Engage with the educational community, including educators, students, and parents. Promote the company’s commitment to education and social responsibility.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators and report regularly to the board of directors and other stakeholders on the company’s progress and achievements.

Working hours: 40 hours/week
Salary: $85.00-$95.00

Job Requirements:

Fluent in English;
Years of Experience Required: Experience an Asset;
Applicants with more than 5 years of experience as senior managers in educational institutions are preferred
