Job Responsibilities:
Designing outdoor hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, fire pits, and outdoor kitchens based on client preferences and site conditions.
Excavating and preparing the ground for hardscape installations, ensuring proper drainage and structural integrity.
Installing hardscape materials such as pavers, flagstone, bricks, and concrete by the design plan.
Cutting and shaping hardscape materials to fit specific design requirements.
Building retaining walls and other structures to provide structural support and visual appeal.
Installing outdoor lighting, irrigation systems, and drainage solutions within hardscape features.
Applying sealants and finishes to hardscape materials to enhance their durability and appearance.
Conducting regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning, repairing, and restoring hardscape features.
Collaborating with landscape designers, architects, and clients to ensure that hardscape designs meet aesthetic and functional requirements.
Adhering to safety standards and regulations while working with heavy equipment and power tools in outdoor environments.
Essential Qualifications:
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor environments
Experience in hardscaping/landscaping is an asset
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Willingness to learn and take direction
