General Handyman Job

We are seeking a versatile and skilled General Handyman with experience in carpentry and electrical work to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of tasks across different trades, contributing to our manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to operate various tools and equipment, and experience managing multiple jobs. This position offers an opportunity to develop a broad skills set within the company.
DUTIES:
1. Assist in a wide variety of carpentry work, using hand tools and power tools
2. Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, and roofing tasks as needed
3. Install fixtures, doors, siding, cabinets, and other building components with precision
4. Conduct water damage restoration, mold remediation, and general site cleanup
5. Handle heavy lifting and material transportation safely across job sites
6. Apply caulking, stucco, plastering, flooring installation, tile laying, and painting techniques
7. Assist with plumbing, electrical wiring, fixture installation, and metal stud framing under supervision
8. Always follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
REQUIREMENTS:
MUST be reliable and punctual to work!
1. Proven experience in various trades such as carpentry, electrical work, masonry, or restoration industry experience
2. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC equipment, and fabrication techniques
3. Experience with heavy lifting and working on multiple types of projects including remodeling and new builds
4. Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites
5. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy materials
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
7. Prior experience in water damage restoration or mold remediation is a plus
