General Farm Workers.
We are looking for Harvesting Farm Workers who would do the following duties:
• Plant, fertilize, cultivate, irrigate fruits and vegetable
• Operate and maintain farm machinery & equipment
• Clean, pack fruit & vegetable
• Pick out over-ripe and otherwise damaged fruit and vegetable
• Clean working area including farm equipment
• Learn and follow all health & safety standards
• Report to and follow directions of a farm supervisor
Wages: This is primarily a full-time position paying $ 18.00 an hour.
Requirement: No formal education is required, no experience is necessary as all training will be provided.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling.
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Wet/damp, Dusty, rain/ shine, hot/cold weather
Other requirements: Candidate must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Benefits: Accommodation at $30.00 per week, and relocation expenses covered by employer. Airfare, medical insurance for first three months of employment.
