Job Description:
BILN FARMS LTD., 13839 Reichenbach Rd, Pitt Meadows, BC, V3Y 1Z1 is hiring full time “General Farm worker” (15 Vacancy).
Duties: Plant, cultivate, and irrigate fruits and field crops. Harvest crops, remove weeds from the crop, sort & grade the farm produce. Field work, plowing, planting, weeding, cultivating, and washing crops. Set and monitor water lines. Detect disease and health problems in crops. Fertilising and other duties related to agriculture stream. Regular check on the crops for picking. Crop rotation to keep the soil fertilize and control the pest and diseases. Report to and follow directions of farm supervisor, ability to work extended hours including evenings, nights and weekends.
Wages $17.85/hr, Benefits – 4% Vacation pay, Jobs F/T (40 hr per week), Permanent, weekday, weekend, evening. Education not req’d, Language – No Language required, Experience – Will train. Accommodation available at $30/week.
Work Site Environment: Year-round work, outdoors, wet/damp/rain, odours, hot/cold.
Other Information: Candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
