Work Hours: 40.00 hours per week
Wages: $17.4 CAD per hour
Duration of Job: Full time, Permanent
Benefits: WorkSafe BC and Stat Holidays
Main duties
• Gather an abundant harvest of mushrooms, vegetables, fruits, and more.
• Preparation of soil, planting seeds, weeding, grafting and bud crops; and transplant seedlings and rooted cuttings
• Cultivating, irrigating, fertilizing and harvesting field crops.
• Sort, weigh and pack mushroom, vegetables and fruits at the farm.
• Load, unload and transfer boxes, crates, supplies, farm produce and products for packing and transportation.
• Clean up workplace, including cleaning racks, trays, tables, harvest bins and general clean up of growing, producing and packing areas.
• Follow food safety and security and animal bio-security procedures.
• Examine produce for quality and prepare for market.
• Assist in the maintenance of facilities and farm equipment and tools,
• Perform other duties as per instructions.
