Mary’s Garden Ltd. requires 3 permanent and full-time general farm workers to join their team. We welcome vulnerable youth, new immigrants, persons with disabilities, visible minorities, and aboriginal people to apply.
Job Title: General farm worker
Location: 15649 40 Avenue, Surrey, BC V3Z 1E6
Wage - $17.85/hour for 40 hours per week along with 4% vacation pay
Number of Positions-3
Employment type – Permanent, full-time
Start date: As soon as possible.
Job Requirements:
Education: None
Experience: None (training would be provided)
Language: No language requirement
Job duties:
•Prepare and irrigate soil
•Plant, fertilize, thin and harvest crops
•Pick row and orchard crops
•Sort, weigh and pack fruit and vegetables at the farm
•Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce and products for transport
•Clean up racks, trays, and harvest bins and general clean up of growing, producing and packing areas
•Assist with general farm maintenance and maintenance of equipment and tools
•May assist in preparing garden beds for planting
•May write daily progress reports of inventory harvested.
