is in need of General Farm Worker (Harvesting)
NOC Code: 85101
Employment Terms: Full Time – Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Plant, fertilize, cultivate, spray, irrigate, and harvest crops according to established farm schedules.
2. Operate farm machinery and equipment safely and assist with routine maintenance.
3. Perform general farm maintenance, including upkeep of buildings, facilities, and equipment.
4. Maintain farm grounds, including yard cleanup and ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
5. Assist with loading, unloading, and handling of farm products and supplies.
6. Follow all farm safety procedures and guidelines.
7. Perform other related duties as required to support daily farm operations.
Employment Requirements:
1. Education: Some secondary education is required.
2. Work Experience: Previous experience is an asset but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Working Hours: 30-70 hours/week, work schedule varies depending on season and crop cycle; 1 varied day off per week
Wage: $25.00/hour
