General Farm Worker Job

Job Duties:
• soaking, blending and mixing the compost ingredients using hand tools and farm equipment
• Grow mycelium in the compost
• Report any changes of compost consistency to supervisor
• Inspect the farm equipment daily and report any deviations to the supervisor
• Maintain the tools, implements, and mechanical equipment in good condition
• Load the compost into trucks
• Clean up the work area when the work is completed
• Wear personal protective equipment (safety shoes, respirators, gloves, etc.) as required, and perform other associated duties

Working Abilities and Physical Capabilities:
• Heavy lifting required
• Ability to work long hours, early mornings and weekends is required
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Language: No formal language requirement.

No education or experience required; successful candidates will be trained in job duties.
