is in need of General Farm Labourer (Cattle)
NOC: 85100
EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full Time - Permanent
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist with calving, artificial insemination, hoof trimming, branding, tagging, sorting, vaccinating, loading, and transporting cattle.
2. Monitor cattle health and behavior, report illness or injury, and assist with basic animal health tasks under supervision.
3. Feed, water, and care for beef cattle according to established feeding programs and schedules.
4. Move and manage cattle safely between pens, corrals, pasture, and handling facilities.
5. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
6. Clean, disinfect, and maintain barns, corrals, pens, water systems, and livestock handling equipment.
7. Follow all farm safety procedures, biosecurity protocols, and animal welfare standards.
8. Perform other general farm labour duties as assigned.
WORKING HOURS: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week; normal workday shall begin 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM; working hours may vary depending on operational requirement; 1 varied day off per week
WAGE: $22.50/hour

1. Education: There are no specific education requirements.
2. Work Experience: Basic farm knowledge is required; Previous experience is an asset.
