*Build the employment law function as a strategic adviser and collaborate across the organization with the Legal, Human Resources and business teams. *Develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with business partners at all levels as well as with colleagues on the Legal team. *Serve as subject matter expert in all areas of federal, state, and local employment laws, and provide ethical and pragmatic advice on a wide range of complex employment matters, including offers and separations; employee compensation; discipline and discharge issues; diversity and inclusion; employee investigations; whistleblower matters; leave issues; wage and hour compliance; restructurings; restrictive covenants; and collective bargaining agreements.
