General construction supervisor Job

Guru Contracting Ltd. DBA Guru Service Group is hiring 1 full-time and permanent General construction supervisor at UNIT 206, 13308 76 AVENUE, Surrey, BC, V3W 2W1. (Even though this is a full-time position, we still encourage part -time job seekers to apply as well). Salary is $41 per hour and No. of hours are 40 per week.

Main Duties:

Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of workers who operate cranes and construction, paving, drilling, railway maintenance and other similar heavy equipment

Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers

Requisition materials and supplies

Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity

Train or arrange for training of workers

Recommend personnel actions such as hiring's and promotions

Prepare production and other reports

Employment Requirements:

Completion of secondary school is usually required. 2-3 years experience in the occupation supervised is required.
