General Construction Labourer Job

Job Duties:

-Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, flooring, drywall, and renovation supplies
-Assist with residential renovation projects, including surface preparation, demolition, and material installation support
-Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
-Prepare, clean, and maintain work areas inside apartments and houses
-Remove debris, old materials, and waste from renovation sites
-Operate hand and power tools under the supervision of skilled tradespersons
-Assist painters, flooring installers, and other trades during repair and finishing work
-Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying materials
-Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and consistently use required PPE

-Minimum 7 months to 1 year of experience in construction or residential renovation
-Ability to perform physically demanding work daily, including lifting up to 50 lbs
-Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
-Ability to stand, bend, climb, and carry materials for extended periods
-Valid driver’s licence to travel between residential job sites required
-Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced renovation environment
-Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including daytime hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by project timelines and operational needs
