Gas Station Manager Job

Pioneer Gas Station (On the Run) is seeking an experienced Gas Station Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations in Barrie, Ontario. The successful candidate will lead staff, ensure excellent customer service, manage inventory and daily cash reconciliations, maintain a safe and efficient workplace, and support the overall success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
- Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers
- Establish work schedules
- Perform same duties as workers supervised
- Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
- Assign sales workers to duties
- Authorize payments by cheque
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
- Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
- Receive and issue payments
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Record and balance daily transactions
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
- Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards

Qualifications:
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a related supervisory or managerial role.
- Languages: English.
