Job Duties
• Answer enquiries regarding hotel services and registration by letter, by telephone, and in person
• Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanour and assist with the check-in process
• Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments
• Register arriving guests and assign rooms
• Compile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts and vouchers using computerized or manual systems
• Handle guest requests and complaints efficiently, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
• Process payments and manage cash transactions securely, present statements of charges to departing guests, and receive payment
• Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared for incoming guests
• Provide information about services available in the community, and respond to guests' complaints
• Provide local area information, including dining recommendations and attractions.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry

Full-time, permanent: 30-40 hours per week
Young applicants will be preferred

Education
• Secondary school
Experience
• Experience in a hotel/Motel will be an asset
Salary
$17/hr
Benefits
• Overtime Pay (1.5 times the hourly wage after 40 hours of work in a week and/or after 8 hours in a given day).
• Vacation pay as per Saskatchewan Standards (3 weeks or 5.77% of vacation pay)
