Job Description:
The Front Desk Attendant will be responsible for providing front-line guest services and supporting daily front office operations, including the following duties:
• Welcome guests upon arrival, complete check-in procedures, and assign rooms in accordance with reservations and availability.
• Manage guest reservations, including booking new reservations, modifying existing bookings, and processing cancellations.
• Assist with guest departures by preparing invoices, processing payments, and completing check-out procedures.
• Respond to guest questions and requests regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
• Address guest concerns, complaints, or service issues in a professional manner and escalate matters to management when required.
• Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and occupancy levels using the hotel’s property management system.
• Handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions and reconcile daily financial reports as required.
• Answer incoming phone calls, forward messages, and respond to guest inquiries by telephone and email.
• Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing documents, preparing reports, and updating guest records.
• Assist guests with special requests or accessibility needs to ensure a comfortable stay.
• Follow hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures at all times.
• Coordinate wake-up calls and other guest services as requested.
• Work closely with housekeeping and management to ensure rooms are ready and guest needs are met in a timely manner.
Eligibility:
• Secondary school education is required.
• Language: English
