Job Description:
Lally Framing Ltd. located in Delta, BC is looking for a FRAMING CARPENTER to join its team as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
• Determine specifications and calculate requirements;
• Prepare layouts according to building codes, using measuring tools;
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials;
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, erect walls and roof systems;
• Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware;
• Maintain, repair and renovate wooden structures in residential and commercial buildings;
• May supervise other construction workers.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school
• At least 3 to 4 years of experience in the trade
OR
• 3 to 4-year apprenticeship program in carpentry
Language: English
Salary: $37.00/hour for 30 to 35 hours/week, overtime available after 40 hours per week
Location: Different Location in Lower Mainland Area and Vancouver Area, depending on contract.
